Getting Dotiac::DTL
There are three common ways to install Dotiac::DTL Since Dotiac::DTL requires only the perl CORE modules, all you need is a recent version of Perl installed (5.6.1 and up).
Using CPAN
If you have installed Perl, you get CPAN included, all you need to do is type this into the commandline and press Return:
perl -MCPAN -e "install Dotiac::DTL"
With Activeperl, you can also use the ppm tool.
Getting the bundle
Go to the Sourceforge File Release system and download the latest Dotiac::DTL version. Then you extract it, using zip or tar with gzip.
Change into the folder you extracted it to and type this:
perl Makefile.PL
make test
make install
Installing it to a locked webserver
Some Webservers don't allow for perl packages to be installed or don't provide any method for it.
If you don't have shell access to your webserver, but some kind of FTP, you can just copy the Dotiac directory from the lib directory where your script is and then you can use it too, but since there were no tests run you might encounter some problems.
